Reflection: Spiritual Protocol Part II-Spiritual Backlash/Retaliation

The spiritual realms play by a different set of rules, order and conduct. You will do yourself, family and pillars of your life well to know and understand these truths.

Examples:

Some have ministered to someone who was sick or in bondage and was barely out the door when everything began going wrong in their life. Many have came down with the same physical symptoms, some experienced strife in their homes, theft, others destruction, cars breaking down, accidents, sickness, appliances breaking, children getting hurt and numerous, endless other scenarios.

Important Key Points to Remember:

1. Do not Force your ministry on those who do not desire your ministry. You are Trespassing & Out of Order should you continue to do so. This includes your family, those you love and deeply care for.  We cannot impose our will or desires on others even if it is right and Godly. To do this is operating in a form of witchcraft.  Remember, our example is how the Father interacts with us.

2. Pray, minister etc. as you are lead by the Holy Spirit only. We must be sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s leading, direction and prompting. The Holy Spirit knows what we do not know. The individual Must Desire and Be Ready to be delivered and set free, otherwise, you are Trespassing & Out of Order. You cannot help or minister to someone who has no desire to change. They are comfortable and content in their current condition, naturally or spiritually. That is their right if they so desire.

3. After ministry to someone or a group, you must submit yourself Completely to God, break all spiritual links with this person or people and renounce any contamination or curse (s) that might have been received from the person or people. In addition, make sure you yourself are personally in the right standing with God and posturing in the spirit. Confess, Repent and Renounce sin, unholy connections, activity etc. if applicable. By doing this you are clearing your spirit and stopping the enemy from gaining a hold in your life.

If you keep these scriptural procedures and processes in mind before and after ministry, you will not experience backlashes in the spirit.

Reflection: Right Prospective and Focus

Reflection: Right Prospective and Focus

We should NOT look for deliverance through people, policies, procedures or laws. We are to pray and move in obedience while keeping our focus, faith and hope in God and Him alone. However, realize and understand that God has sovereignly decided to accomplish His purpose, plan and will through mankind, saved or unsaved. He can and will use any person, means, methods or things necessary to accomplish His agenda in the earth.

Scripture Reference:

Isaiah 46:9-11 (KJV)

Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.

Reflection: You Do Not Have To Be Spiritually Blind

Reflection: You Do Not Have To Be Spiritually Blind

We are living in a time where we must cultivate our sensitivity and perception in the spiritual realm (s). We need to hear or see in the spirit if not both. If you are in Christ, you have received the fullness of Holy Spirit without measure. There is a powerful, personal anointing within you, which abides and you do not have to be blind in the spiritual realm (s). The personal anointing within you is for guidance and protection.  It is not the same as an anointing for ministering to others. This is just for you and matters concerning you.

1 John 2:20 declares, But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. 1 John 2:27 declares, But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.

Release your faith for more and allow the Holy Spirit, our teacher, to train you to be more discerning and perceptive. Just as you have natural senses, you have senses in the spirit but you must learn to recognize them. Make a decision today to receive and believe the Word of God by Faith. Spend regular, dedicated time in prayer, fasting, reading, meditating on the Word and living a lifestyle of obedience. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation. Sincerely desire that the He reveal that which is hidden and veiled to you.

Scripture References:

Psalm 37:4 (AMP) Delight yourself in the Lord, And He will give you the desires and petitions of your heart.

Ephesians 3:20-21 (AMP) Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen.

Reflection: Do not Neglect the Written Word of God!

Reflection: Do not Neglect the Written Word of God!

Jesus wants to present the church to Himself in glorious splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, set apart and blameless. He sanctifies the church and cleanses her by the washing of water with the Word of God. The Word of God is our light, guide, measuring rod and renews our mind which allows us to be focused and grounded in truth. It is also alive, quick, powerful, sharpening, life changing and will bring salvation, deep emotional and physical healing, deliverance, wholeness and exponential increase.

One Word from God changes everything! Delight yourself, hunger and thirst for the pure, unadulterated Word of God. Don’t spend a day without opening your bible, reading and meditating on the Word of God even if it is just 5 minutes. No spoken word or prophecy should be given Higher Authority or Pursuit than the Holy Scriptures. A spoken word or prophecy must be judged, validated and measured by the written Word of God. All scripture is God–Breathed, Holy Prophets of Old spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. God’s written Word, logos, is inerrant, incorruptible, infallible, unchangeable and eternal. It is forever settled and established in heaven.

Don’t be a lazy believer. Stop looking for a spoken word or prophecy and go to the written Word of God. Allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you directly. He desires to talk with you and minister rhema, truths, applicable to your life and matters that concern you. Do not despise Prophecy, for it is the Testimony of Jesus. However, do not neglect taking personal time regularly to read, study and meditate on the written Word of God.

Scripture References:

Psalm 119:89 (KJV) Forever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.

Job 23:12 (KJV) Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.

Psalm 119:16(KJV) I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.

Psalm 1:2 (AMP) But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And on His law [His precepts and teachings] he [habitually] meditates day and night.

2 Timothy 2:15 (AMP) Study and do your best to present yourself to God approved, a workman [tested by trial] who has no reason to be ashamed, accurately handling and skillfully teaching the word of truth.

Ephesians 5:25-27 (AMP) ….just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her, so that He might sanctify the church, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word [of God], so that [in turn] He might present the church to Himself in glorious splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy [set apart for God] and blameless.

Hebrews 4:12 (AMP) for the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged [a]sword, penetrating as far as the division of the [b]soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart.

2 Peter 1:19-21 (NIV) We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

1 Thessalonians 5:20-21 (AMP) Do not scorn or reject gifts of prophecy or prophecies [spoken revelations—words of instruction or exhortation or warning]. But test [a]all things carefully [so you can recognize what is good]. Hold firmly to that which is good.

Revelation 19:10 (AMP) Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he [stopped me and] said to me, “You must not do that; I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers and sisters who have and hold the testimony of Jesus. Worship God [alone]. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy [His life and teaching are the heart of prophecy].”

Reflection: Worth Before God

Reflection: Worth Before God

Never underestimate the worth of a Contrite Heart and a Broken Spirit before God. It may not always cause you to be noticed or have much value by people but it is very precious in the EYES of God. Such a one God can trust with His heart, secrets, mysteries, deeper truths and revelations. This is NOT to inflate their ego with pride, arrogance and superiority but to Advance the Kingdom of God in Love.

Psalm 51:17 (NLT) The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God.

James 4:10 (NLT) Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor.

Reflection: God is Watching!!!

God is watching and examining our works, motives and the condition of our hearts. In your efforts to serve and minister to others, be very careful that you are directing and drawing attention to Jesus and not yourself. Stay hidden behind the glorious cross!

John 12:32 (KJV) … if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

Reflection: How Do You Respond?

Reflection: How do you respond to God when He says No, Wait or is Silent?

Choose to Rejoice in the Lord!

Habakkuk 3:17-18 (AMP) declares 17 Though the fig tree does not blossom And there is no fruit on the vines, Though the yield of the olive fails And the fields produce no food, Though the flock is cut off from the fold And there are no cattle in the stalls, 18 Yet I will [choose to] rejoice in the Lord; I will [choose to] shout in exultation in the [victorious] God of my salvation!

Reflection: Rejoice!

Reflection: Rejoice and Thank God for every time He said No!

His will and ways are far more superior and excellent than anything we could ever dream or imagine. God will share with us many things. But, we may not understand the full revelation of a thing until we see Him face to face.

Scripture Reference:

Ephesians 3:20 (AMP)

Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us,

1 Corinthians 13:9-12 (AMP)

For we know in part, and we prophesy in part [for our knowledge is fragmentary and incomplete].  But when that which is complete and perfect comes, that which is incomplete and partial will pass away. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things.  For now [in this time of imperfection] we see in a mirror dimly [a blurred reflection, a riddle, an enigma], but then [when the time of perfection comes we will see reality] face to face. Now I know in part [just in fragments], but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known [by God].

Reflection: You Have Not Passed This Way Before!

Reflection: You Have Not Passed This Way Before!

This post is for those in Five -Fold Ministry or emerging ministry leaders who are learning to opeate in a developing or fully mature anointing. That powerrful anointing upon you must be channeled and guided. You must be stable, disciplined and deeply grounded in God. You must have depth in your spirit, uptmost character, integrity and manifest the true nature of God which is the Fruit of the Holy Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, self-control). The anointing upon you must be placed under submission to the right counsel from the right voices. As you are led by the Holy Spirit, submit to seasoned and mature voices, not necessarily someone up in age, ordained by God to speak truthfully the Heart of the Father into your life in love.

Sound Godly counsel will help you to fully achieve your purpose and operate in a Spirit of Excellence. This brings Glory and Honor to God and enables you to live a Godly life above reproach. Although, it may feel good that the Mighty Hand of God is upon you, training  and developement is key to operate effectively in your Anointing (s) and Giftting (s). Someone knows what you DON'T KNOW and NEED TO KNOW.  You have not been this way before!

Scripture Reference:

Joshua 3:1-4 NKJV

Then Joshua rose early in the morning; and they set out from Acacia Grove[a] and came to the Jordan, he and all the children of Israel, and lodged there before they crossed over. So it was, after three days, that the officers went through the camp; and they commanded the people, saying, “When you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, and the priests, the Levites, bearing it, then you shall set out from your place and go after it. Yet there shall be a space between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure. Do not come near it, that you may know the way by which you must go, for you have not passed this way before.”

Reflection: Spiritual GPS

As SONS of the Most High God, it is critically necessary to be sensitive and in tune with the Spirit of the Lord like never before. Walk by the Revelation of the Spirit of God and trust your spiritual senses. Do not be lead by what you see with your eyes, feel or understand through dark knowledge. Walk by Revelation not by Information. Always walk and abide in the love, grace and mercy of God and follow your Spiritual GPS- the Holy Spirit!

Scripture References:

Romans 8:1-8,14 (NKJV)

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus,[a] who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

Romans 8:19-21 (AMP)

For [even the whole] creation [all nature] waits eagerly for the children of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration and futility, not willingly [because of some intentional fault on its part], but by the will of Him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will also be freed from its bondage to decay [and gain entrance] into the glorious freedom of the children of God.
