Reflection: Wake Up: An Enemy Has Done This!

Wake up Church, things will get worse before they get better. But, God will hide, protect, keep and sustain His people. However, this is no time to be spiritually stagnant, lazy, out of rhythm with God or asleep. Are you praying, watching and listening in the spirit? Do NOT believe or receive everything that the media outlets are presenting; only a small percentage of it is really true. They are propagating the agenda of the enemy, not that of the Kingdom of God. Don’t just watch, read or listen to the so called news or information without guarding your heart and rightly discerning in the spirit. Most of it is demonically inspired and driven to plant ungodly seeds in the heart. Those seeds grow to create, foster and maintain ungodly belief systems, mindsets, attitudes, and behaviors in the core of the soul (mind, will, and emotions, subconscious). All of this can and will destroy the fabric of our civilized society and Godly culture.

We need to recognize the work of the enemy and that there is a spiritual battle going on for the right to rule, Kingdom of Heaven or Kingdom of Darkness. All truth is parallel, meaning what we see is in the natural realm is only the manifestation of what is happening behind the scenes. We must fight in prayer; stand on the Word of God, cast down imaginations, sophisticated arguments and every high, proud thing which exalts itself against the knowledge of God. We must also obey the Word and the promptings, unction, direction and guidance of the Holy Spirit in order to reclaim and maintain that which is right and Godly. Church, we must be discerning, wise, knowledgeable, bold and courageous in this hour!

Scripture Reference:

2 Corinthians 10:3-6 (AMP)

For though we walk in the flesh [as mortal men], we are not carrying on our [spiritual] warfare according to the flesh and using the weapons of man. The weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood]. Our weapons are divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ, being ready to punish every act of disobedience, when your own obedience [as a church] is complete.

Matthew 13:24-28 (AMP)

Jesus gave them another parable [to consider], saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed [a]weeds [resembling wheat] among the wheat, and went away. So when the plants sprouted and formed grain, the weeds appeared also. The servants of the owner came to him and said, ‘Sir did you not sow good seed in your field? Then how does it have weeds in it?’ He replied to them, ‘An enemy has done this...

Reflection: Right Prospective and Focus

Reflection: Right Prospective and Focus

We should NOT look for deliverance through people, policies, procedures or laws. We are to pray and move in obedience while keeping our focus, faith and hope in God and Him alone. However, realize and understand that God has sovereignly decided to accomplish His purpose, plan and will through mankind, saved or unsaved. He can and will use any person, means, methods or things necessary to accomplish His agenda in the earth.

Scripture Reference:

Isaiah 46:9-11 (KJV)

Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.

Reflection: Spiritual Protocol Part I

Reflection: Spiritual Protocol Part I

There is protocol, rank and order for the divine and demonic kingdoms in the spiritual realms. The enemy understands this oftentimes better than we do as People of God. We do not have to tolerate illegal, unwarranted attacks and harassment from the enemy. This can be directed towards you, your family or any pillar of your life.

We have the authority and power to speak the Word and rebuke him in the name of Jesus. But we must be fully submitted to God and in a place of obedience. When we are out of order and not in the will of God, it undermines and weakens our authority and power in the spirit. This makes our words weak, hollow and powerless.

Sin is the only way the enemy is given legal, warranted, authority to attack anyone. If there is a doorway open in someone's life, it must be closed. This will prevent the enemy from entering by that same avenue. The term or coined phrase “spiritual doorway” is used to describe the avenue for sin operating in a person’s life, either directly, through spiritual contamination or outright rejection of the Word.

Some ways the enemy may have license to operate may include, but may not be limited to: witchcraft, immoral sexual behavior, drugs, generational sins, spiritual contamination, rebellion etc. The avenue by which the enemy has entered someone’s life must be identified, all sin repented before God, renounced and closed with prayer. Once you are delivered and free, maintain it by turning completely away from sin and giving no place to the enemy in your life.

Scripture Reference:

James 4:6-7 (AMP)

But He gives us more and more grace [through the power of the Holy Spirit to defy sin and live an obedient life that reflects both our faith and our gratitude for our salvation]. Therefore, it says, “God is opposed to the proud and haughty, but [continually] gives [the gift of] grace to the humble [who turn away from self-righteousness].” So submit to [the authority of] God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him] and he will flee from you.

Reflection: Do not Neglect the Written Word of God!

Reflection: Do not Neglect the Written Word of God!

Jesus wants to present the church to Himself in glorious splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, set apart and blameless. He sanctifies the church and cleanses her by the washing of water with the Word of God. The Word of God is our light, guide, measuring rod and renews our mind which allows us to be focused and grounded in truth. It is also alive, quick, powerful, sharpening, life changing and will bring salvation, deep emotional and physical healing, deliverance, wholeness and exponential increase.

One Word from God changes everything! Delight yourself, hunger and thirst for the pure, unadulterated Word of God. Don’t spend a day without opening your bible, reading and meditating on the Word of God even if it is just 5 minutes. No spoken word or prophecy should be given Higher Authority or Pursuit than the Holy Scriptures. A spoken word or prophecy must be judged, validated and measured by the written Word of God. All scripture is God–Breathed, Holy Prophets of Old spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. God’s written Word, logos, is inerrant, incorruptible, infallible, unchangeable and eternal. It is forever settled and established in heaven.

Don’t be a lazy believer. Stop looking for a spoken word or prophecy and go to the written Word of God. Allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you directly. He desires to talk with you and minister rhema, truths, applicable to your life and matters that concern you. Do not despise Prophecy, for it is the Testimony of Jesus. However, do not neglect taking personal time regularly to read, study and meditate on the written Word of God.

Scripture References:

Psalm 119:89 (KJV) Forever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.

Job 23:12 (KJV) Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.

Psalm 119:16(KJV) I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.

Psalm 1:2 (AMP) But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And on His law [His precepts and teachings] he [habitually] meditates day and night.

2 Timothy 2:15 (AMP) Study and do your best to present yourself to God approved, a workman [tested by trial] who has no reason to be ashamed, accurately handling and skillfully teaching the word of truth.

Ephesians 5:25-27 (AMP) ….just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her, so that He might sanctify the church, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word [of God], so that [in turn] He might present the church to Himself in glorious splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy [set apart for God] and blameless.

Hebrews 4:12 (AMP) for the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged [a]sword, penetrating as far as the division of the [b]soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart.

2 Peter 1:19-21 (NIV) We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

1 Thessalonians 5:20-21 (AMP) Do not scorn or reject gifts of prophecy or prophecies [spoken revelations—words of instruction or exhortation or warning]. But test [a]all things carefully [so you can recognize what is good]. Hold firmly to that which is good.

Revelation 19:10 (AMP) Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he [stopped me and] said to me, “You must not do that; I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers and sisters who have and hold the testimony of Jesus. Worship God [alone]. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy [His life and teaching are the heart of prophecy].”

Reflection: Worth Before God

Reflection: Worth Before God

Never underestimate the worth of a Contrite Heart and a Broken Spirit before God. It may not always cause you to be noticed or have much value by people but it is very precious in the EYES of God. Such a one God can trust with His heart, secrets, mysteries, deeper truths and revelations. This is NOT to inflate their ego with pride, arrogance and superiority but to Advance the Kingdom of God in Love.

Psalm 51:17 (NLT) The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God.

James 4:10 (NLT) Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor.

Reflection: God is Watching!!!

God is watching and examining our works, motives and the condition of our hearts. In your efforts to serve and minister to others, be very careful that you are directing and drawing attention to Jesus and not yourself. Stay hidden behind the glorious cross!

John 12:32 (KJV) … if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

Reflection: How Do You Respond?

Reflection: How do you respond to God when He says No, Wait or is Silent?

Choose to Rejoice in the Lord!

Habakkuk 3:17-18 (AMP) declares 17 Though the fig tree does not blossom And there is no fruit on the vines, Though the yield of the olive fails And the fields produce no food, Though the flock is cut off from the fold And there are no cattle in the stalls, 18 Yet I will [choose to] rejoice in the Lord; I will [choose to] shout in exultation in the [victorious] God of my salvation!

Reflection: Rejoice!

Reflection: Rejoice and Thank God for every time He said No!

His will and ways are far more superior and excellent than anything we could ever dream or imagine. God will share with us many things. But, we may not understand the full revelation of a thing until we see Him face to face.

Scripture Reference:

Ephesians 3:20 (AMP)

Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us,

1 Corinthians 13:9-12 (AMP)

For we know in part, and we prophesy in part [for our knowledge is fragmentary and incomplete].  But when that which is complete and perfect comes, that which is incomplete and partial will pass away. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things.  For now [in this time of imperfection] we see in a mirror dimly [a blurred reflection, a riddle, an enigma], but then [when the time of perfection comes we will see reality] face to face. Now I know in part [just in fragments], but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known [by God].

Reflection: Spiritual GPS

Reflection: Spiritual GPS

As SONS of the Most High God, it is critically necessary to be sensitive and in tune with the Spirit of the Lord like never before. Walk by the Revelation of the Spirit of God and trust your spiritual senses. Do not be lead by what you see with your eyes, feel or understand through dark knowledge. Walk by Revelation not by Information. Always walk and abide in the love, grace and mercy of God and follow your Spiritual GPS- the Holy Spirit!

Scripture References:

Romans 8:1-8,14 (NKJV)

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus,[a] who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

Romans 8:19-21 (AMP)

For [even the whole] creation [all nature] waits eagerly for the children of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration and futility, not willingly [because of some intentional fault on its part], but by the will of Him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will also be freed from its bondage to decay [and gain entrance] into the glorious freedom of the children of God.
